My sculptures emerge from a strong connection to anachronistic materials and time-honored processes. Working primarily in wood and ceramic, I create figural works that explore themes of tension, history, traditions and personal narrative.
Each piece is born from my relationship with anachronistic mediums—materials that carry their own histories and speak to our collective past. Through my hands and these ancient processes, I seek to give form to the invisible threads that connect us to our ancestors and to the stories that shape our understanding of self.
My work exists firmly in three-dimensional space, inviting viewers to move around and through the pieces, discovering new perspectives and details that reveal themselves only through physical presence and time.
